Security
No, your fingerprint is always necessary.
Your safe deposit box is securely housed in a state-of-the-art vault at security level 10. Your access is secured, with 3 levels of security:
- Enter the store with your access card.
- With your card and PIN you have access to the client’s private security booth.
- With your card, PIN and fingerprint, you can now request your locker.
The encrypted access card is only part of the 3-factor authentication. The other parts are your personal PIN and your fingerprint. You can only access your locker with all three together. The access card is encrypted using an algorithm that is considered tamper-proof and is also used by various government agencies as a proven solution for secure encryption. Finally, you will also receive a physical key for your locker.
Our innovative robotic technology allows immediate and safe access to your valuables. To do this, a robot located in the vault, after passing the 3-factor authentication (card, PIN and fingerprint), selects the box you requested and brings it from its location in the vault. The robot then transfers the safe deposit box via a channel to the exit unit of the customer’s private security booth. The locker can now be opened with a key. Only then is it possible to access the content. The safe deposit box is then transferred back to the vault by the robot.
Each of our lockers comes with a standard 5,000 euro cover included in the rental price against risks such as fire, burglary or robbery within the store. If you wish, you can increase the standard coverage up to EUR 500,000 per box. Insurance is provided by a consortium of well-known insurance companies. You can find all the information in the locker insurance.
If you lose your access card, let us know immediately. We will then disable it for you. You can issue your new card from our customer service at the store. The same applies to a damaged card.
Our locations are multi-secured to provide the best possible protection for your valuables:
- We employ a certified security service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (physical presence in the store and patrols)
- We rely on the latest in video surveillance and a sophisticated alarm system
- The lockers are located in a last generation vault, security level 10 with 15 cm thick walls made of special reinforced concrete (ECB-S certification)
- The lockers are transferred to the private customer security cabins, using an automated system without the intervention of an employee. Only you and those authorised by you have access to your locker. SMS service to always be aware of any access to your mailbox.
Our lockers are definitely one of the best ways to keep cash and other valuables safe. Other goods that should be kept particularly safe are crypto wallets, jewellery, watches, gold and precious metals and other valuable collectibles. Important documents such as contracts, certificates, land registry documents, family registers, wills also belong in a box. But items of sentimental value, such as old family photos, which would be irreparably damaged by flood or fire, should also be protected.
The Safe Deposit Box/My Contract
Lockers can only be used to store goods that do not pose a risk to our customers or that cannot affect the functionality of the storage system. In particular, lockers may not be used for the storage of dangerous – particularly flammable – objects or goods.
In addition, storage of items is prohibited to the extent that the law prohibits the possession, use or safekeeping of such items. All information about this can be found in our General Terms and Conditions.
In principle, Trisor is obliged to keep all customer data strictly confidential. Unlike bank accounts, for example, there is no automated recovery process by the authorities. In the absence of knowledge of the contents of the safe deposit box, Trisor cannot provide any information to the authorities in this regard.
Regarding the existence of the safe deposit box rental agreement with Trisor:
Without such a request, Trisor is only obliged to report the death of the box owner. If there is a formal request (e.g. a prosecution or court order) and if the legal requirements are met, Trisor will provide the relevant information to the required extent.
As a private customer, you can designate up to 3 other authorised persons to use the locker (for companies up to 6), who will receive their own card and can access the locker with a PIN and fingerprint. Other authorised users must identify themselves with an ID card or passport.
You can choose between 3 sizes – according to your personal needs. If there is not enough space, you can easily switch to a different slot size. Depending on availability.

Monthly contracts:

Long-term contracts:
Our long-term contracts with terms of one year or more can be terminated one month before the expiry of the contractual term agreed at the time of conclusion of the contract. If the contract is not terminated, it is automatically extended for the agreed period of the contract.
If you want to reset your PIN or fingerprint, you can do so with the service staff at the store.
Trisor offers various contract models with different terms and conditions to meet the needs of all customers.
Monthly contracts:
Our standard monthly contracts have a minimum duration of 6 months and can then be cancelled on a monthly basis. (The service is currently not available in the Greek market)
Long-term contracts:
With our long term contracts, from one year and above, you save up to 15% compared to the classic annual contract and choose tiers with privileges (SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM).
Don’t worry: no one can access your mailbox, only with the physical key! If you have only lost one key, we can replace the lock on the spot. The service charge for this is EUR 69,00.
About Trisor
Our stores are accessible to our customers at all times. Similarly, you can access your locker 24/7 anytime, any day of the week. In addition, our service advisors are at your service from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm.
At Trisor, your safe deposit box is secured with 3-factor authentication, which gives you access to your valuables 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without an appointment and without a Trisor employee. The safe deposit box is automatically delivered to private, spacious security booths – unlike some banks, we place great importance on our customers being able to view their stored valuables in peace and quiet. No one in the store has or can gain access to the vault. Our locations are guarded 24 hours a day by security guards and patrols and our vaults are state-of-the-art with the highest security ratings. Due to our independence from banks, you can simply book a safe deposit box with us and you don’t need to open an account with us.
The first store will open in the third quarter of 2024, in the centre of Athens. The next locations will be announced soon.
We know that our prices are sometimes higher than those of traditional lockers. In return, our customers also receive more service and security for their valuables. Unlike banks, you have access to your safe deposit box 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – our customers, who stood in front of closed bank doors during the crisis or the coronavirus, appreciate it very much. This 24/7, 365 days a year availability is one of our key promises – secured, among other things, by emergency power supply in the event of a power cut. In addition, your safe deposit box is protected against any physical attempt or cyber attack, as well as by a 24-hour on-site guard.
